NATO Walls

Context. On May 27–31st 2001 on the initiative of the Republic of Lithuania the spring session of NATO Parliamentary Assembly, the first event of such importance in the territory of the former USSR, took place in Vilnius. Before closing the halls of the Contemporary Art Centre for the work of the assembly, Lithuanian artists were invited to create special works for the walls of the exhibition halls. The concepts of the exhibition were: NATO, Walls, Stability and Peace, Art and Politics, Politics and Money, NATO walls/CAC walls.
